Embracing my scars has always been something that I have struggled with throughout my life. They are a part of me, they are evidence of what I have endured throughout my life and they are here to stay.
For most of my life, I have tried my best to hide them away, because I was ashamed of them. But why should I? Hiding them away doesn't change the fact that they are there. Yes, people stare but fuck them! I shouldn't be ashamed of the many battles that I have fought.
A lot of the outfits that I have posted on here are with my scars covered up, but that is going to change! I am learning to embrace my scars, they are a big part of my life and I should be proud of what I have gone through and who I have become because of my disability.
